Yankee Pug Dog Club AKC Sanctioned "B" Match
Fun Match/Rally/Obedience and Social
On Sunday, July 25, 2010, the Yankee Pug Dog Club will be hosting an AKC B Match, Fun Match and Obedience/Agility/Rally event. The event is scheduled to take place at Tails U Win, 175 Adams Street, Manchester, CT. All are welcome to come and enjoy this fun event. There is no entrance fee. Mark your calendar now so that you won’t miss out on the games, food and fun!

9AM –10AM - FUN RALLY/OBEDIENCE, REGISTRATION & BREAKFAST
10AM – NOON - RALLY AND OBEDIENCE FUN MATCH
NOON -1PM - BREAK FOR LUNCH
1PM – 3PM - AKC SANCTIONED B MATCH
3PM – 4:30PM - AGILITY DEMO & TRY-ITS, FUN MATCH & GAMES

You haven't lived until you have been owned by a Pug.

The Pug, one of the oldest breeds, has flourished true to his breed down through the ages from before 400 B.C. He has always been domesticated and has endeared himself to mankind.

The truth of how the Pug came into existence is shrouded in mystery, but authorities are agreed that he is of Oriental origin with some basic similarities to the Pekingese. China, where the breed was the pet of the Buddhist monasteries in Tibet, is its earliest known source. It next appeared in Japan, and then in Europe, where it became the favorite for various royal courts. MORE >>
